An Emerald card is similar to a Debit Card which is using the Mastercard network and can be used anywhere a Mastercard Debit card is accepted. Emerald Card is issued by MetaBank on behalf of Emerald Financial Services, LLC where H&R Block manages the program terms and conditions and eligibility criteria.

Digital card facility: Get a digitally secured card in your H&R Block mobile app. Customers can use this digital card for making payments and other transactions.

Transaction details: Customers can access all transaction details through the mobile app or online website. Customers can easily view previous transactions and current account balances.

Bill pay: You can pay your bill through your Emerald card account after Logging in to my H&R Block Emerald Card mobile app.

Transfer money: Customers can easily load funds in their Emerald Card online account login and use that fund to shop, pay bills, etc. Funds can be easily added by direct cash deposit at the selected retail outlet, check, Mobile app, through any account connected to the H&R Block account, etc. All funds which are available in your Emerald Card are FDIC insured as per the applicable laws.

Refund Benefits: Cardholders can receive a tax refund-related loan after the approval and loan amounts depend on the tax refund amount. The loan amount will be deducted from the tax refund you will receive later. The loan will be loaded to your Emerald Prepaid Mastercard.

Start savings: Customers can open an Emerald saving account and start saving money. Emerald cards can be used to withdraw and deposit funds. Customers can easily transfer funds to their savings account online or through a mobile app or ATM. The Emerald savings account is insured by FDIC and free to open. However, a $25 initial deposit is required to open a savings account.

How to Access Emerald Card Login Portal

  • Cardholders must have an active H&R Block Emerald Card account in order to log in. If you do not have an account, you will need to register and activate a new account before you can log in.
  • You must have your account username and password that you created while registering your new account. These login credentials will be required while logging into your account.
  • A properly working internet access will be required to log in to your Emerald Card account online.
  • Cardholders must have a secure and trusted device such as a computer, smartphone, or tablet and a secure web browser installed on the device in order to access the Emerald Card login portal.
  • Your card number will be required if you are logging in for the first time.
  • You may have to enter your personal information such as your name, date of birth, and contact information.

How to Register a New Emerald Card Account

  • Go to the TJMAXX credit card registration page.
  • Enter Account Number.
  • Below it, there is a box for your zip code.
  • Enter your zip code and click “Continue.”
  • Complete the registration procedure by providing more card information.
  • Your TJMAXX credit card is registered once the necessary verifications have been completed.

How to Pay Your Emerald Card Bill


  • Visit the official Venus Comenity web page and log in to your account.
  • After login, you will see the payment link on the account dashboard page or navigate to the payment section.
  • In the payment form, enter the amount you want to pay such as minimum payment, full balance, or any custom amount.
  • Select your bank account or add a new bank account.
  • Select the date of the payment.
  • Verify all information and finish the process.

All customers can call the Comenity Venus customer service number at 1-855-839-2900 and make a payment through an automated line. This service is free to use. Customers must arrange their bank routing number and account number to initiate a payment.

An expedited phone payment service is also available. Expedited payment is a paid service and customers will be charged a $15 fee for every transaction. Customers will have the choice to withdraw their expedited phone payment request.

  • Via mail: 

Venus customers can also use the Mail facility to pay their card bills. Customers can Mail a check or money order to the payment address.

The payment address is mentioned on the monthly billing statement. Other instructions about the Mail Payment are also written on the statement. It is advised to check all instructions while sending payment checks or money orders.
