Step 1: Go to the Justworks website
- First, simply open your browser and visit https://www.justworks.com/
- Next just click the white “Login” button on the web page’s upper right corner.
Step 2: Enter your data account.
- Step one is complete once the Justworks sign-in box is displayed on the website.
- Then, fill out your Justworks information for your online account’s “USERNAME” and “PASSWORD.”
- Justworks online accounts can be accessed by filling out the form and clicking the blue “LOGIN” button.

How to Reset your Justworks Login Password

People generally forget their usernames and passwords of Justworks. You may restore your online account on the Justworks website, so do not be concerned.
- Open your browser and go to the Justworks login page.
- When it’s done, click the blue “Forgot username or password? link to access your Justworks online account once more.
- After completing step 1, you will be redirected to the Justworks user or password recovery page.
- You must then enter the email address you used to create your Justworks online account.
- The blue “SEND VERIFICATION EMAIL” button is what you press last.
- In order to recover access to your online account, you must check your email after completing step 2 and continue to follow their instructions.
How to Activate/Register on Justworks
- From the Staff Directory, select Create User.
- Choose an option for this user’s role: employee, manager, or administrator.
- Fill in the following required fields: First and last name, job title, date of hire, office, email address, and username
- Optional options include Employee ID, Department, Manager, and Alternate Email.
- Click Save

What do I do with the Scheduler?
- By going to Maintenance > Scheduler, you can make schedules for people who work the same or similar shifts every day of the week.
- Schedules are also helpful because they let workers know when their schedules need to change because of absences, late arrivals, or early departures.
- Since the default scheduler page only shows the names of employees who have schedules, if you are the first person to look at it, you won’t see any names.
- Check the box next to “Show employees with no schedules” to see the people who don’t have a schedule.
- Pay employees are less likely to clock in and out, so you can remove them from your scheduler by clicking on the status column and then choosing salary.
A server error is shown by the application. What do I need to do?
- When trying to use the system to do different things, you might sometimes run into an error. If that happens, close the browser and start it up again.
- If the error keeps coming up, restart your computer and try to start the program again.
- If the problem doesn’t go away, call support for help.
How can you get your employees to write down a holiday on their time sheets?
- Before this holiday can be posted online, it needs to be planned. To set it up, go to Maintenance > Holidays and choose “Add new Holiday.”
- In the text box, write the name of the holiday and the day it takes place. After adding the hours to the timecards and checking the boxes next to the pay rules that will be changed, click Save.
- Return to maintenance – holidays for the pay period in which the holiday happens. Then click the Post button and add the time cards.
